File and Camera upload
With the upload functionality in LesLinq, you can add an upload action to any element in your microlearning (such as a button, image, icon, etc.). This allows participants to take a photo and upload it directly from within the digital instruction or training.

How it works:
- Open the Elements panel in your project from the menu on the left.
- Under Quick Components, you will see two new options:
- File Upload Button
- Camera Upload Button
- These are preconfigured components with the Upload action already applied
File Upload Button
When you click on the File Upload Button, an icon will be added to your project.

Use this feature when you want participants to upload images or files stored on their device. The uploaded file will be saved in the reporting of the microlearning.
You can fully customize the upload icon in your project, including:
- Color
- Size
- Position
Want to use a different icon? That is also possible.
Camera Upload Button
When you click on the Camera Upload Button, an icon will be added to your project.

Use this feature when you want participants to capture and upload an image or video in real time directly from the microlearning. When a participant clicks the icon, the device’s camera opens, allowing them to take a photo or video and upload it immediately. The uploaded content is saved in the microlearning report.
You can also customize this icon (color, size, position), or replace it with another icon if preferred.
Example of a Camera Upload Button in a project:

After a participant uploads a photo, video, or file, a confirmation message appears on the screen indicating that the upload was successful.

Adding the upload function as an action to any element
The upload functionality is available as an action in the LesLinq action panel. This means you can add the Upload action to any element within your project.
When selecting the Upload action, you can choose between two modes:
File: to upload files stored on the device
Capture: to take and upload photos or videos directly

The Camera Upload Button only works on mobile devices (phone or tablet).
If a participant opens the learning on a desktop, the camera upload function will automatically switch to the file upload function.
