Visitors of all ages can discover the Port of Rotterdam in a surprising and inspiring way.<\/p>\n<p>EIC Mainport Rotterdam Foundation,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eic-mainport.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EIC Mainport Rotterdam Foundation<\/a>, an expert in port education for many years, has its own dedicated space in Portlantis and has developed educational programs. Together with the studio of LesLinq (Grafi Offshore BV), EIC Mainport Rotterdam Foundation created digital, interactive teaching materials for primary school groups 6, 7, and 8, as well as for secondary and vocational education (MBO).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_section_1 et_pb_section et_section_regular et_block_section\"><div class=\"et_pb_row_1 et_pb_row et_block_row\"><div class=\"et_pb_column_1 et_pb_column et_pb_column_2_3 et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_2 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h2>A Continuous Learning Path: From Group 6 to Secondary Education<\/h2>\n<p>The port education program begins in group 6 and continues through secondary school and vocational education. Each lesson consists of a preparatory interactive whiteboard lesson in the classroom and an excursion to Portlantis. The digital whiteboard lessons were developed in LesLinq and include interactive elements, quiz questions, and visual explanations. Students explore the various sectors, the diversity of jobs, and the importance of the port to our economy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_row_3 et_pb_row et_block_row\"><div class=\"et_pb_column_4 et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_4 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h2>A Great Result<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_5 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re very proud of the final result. It turned out exactly as we had hoped,\u201d says Lisette Roselaar, educational staff member at EIC Mainport Rotterdam Foundation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_6 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIn the group 6 lesson, students learn about different types of ships and their cargo. A game was developed in LesLinq where students can move around and apply what they\u2019ve learned,\u201d Lisette explains. \u201cThanks to the clear digital whiteboard lessons and the accompanying teacher guides, all of our lessons can be taught easily by teachers with just a short preparation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_7 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><blockquote>\n<p>The lessons aim to spark enthusiasm, recognition, and curiosity. But schools from other parts of the Netherlands \u2013 and even from abroad \u2013 have now also found their way to Portlantis.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_11 et_pb_text
